Mobile Sawmilling
By being able to bring our expertise to you, the customer can make substantial savings on increasing timber prices by recycling their own trees into useable lumber.
Whether it’s an unfortunate wind blown tree or one having to be taken down. This service can often costs less than the quote to cut and remove the tree, by a tree surgeon. Owning all our equipment, including telehandlers, allows us to provide this service efficiently while remaining affordable.
We operate a number of different bandsaws including a Mobile wide-band forestor mill and Alaskan mills with cuts up to 2.4m! We have something for every scenario, in the past we’ve even milled trees in gardens only accessible through the house.
Live Edge Timber
Being well positioned in southern England means we can offer a great stock of varied timber, all sourced from within 30 miles. From Giant oaks to intimate yews we have in stock over 2000 planks at various stages of drying.
During viewing and choosing your timber from the stacks, guidance from one of the team will ensure you get the best possible material for your future project. Available at various levels of ‘dry’ to suit your needs from fresh sawn to kiln dry. We can cut to size, plane flat and even deliver your chosen plank.
Cladding and Beams
We are fortunate enough to work along side a couple of local (less than 10miles) woodland owners to bring you various structural timbers from prime sawlogs.
Our cladding is very popular and is used for a range of projects including cladding houses, garages, sheds and fences. Live edge cladding adds the ‘rustic’ feel to or we can supply straight edge and even profiled cladding
We cut custom posts, beams and sleepers in a variety of timbers from Douglas fir to Larch & Oak.
Benches
Picnic Benches are a new product for us, something we experimented with to provide seating at a local craft fair. The feedback was so amazing that we had to put them into production, since then we’ve made a few tweaks and changes to create an affordable and long lasting easy seating solution. Feedback from local customers has been humbling and we enjoy delivering and installing them in some incredible local gardens.
